Paddock Mats Collection : A Stable and Mud-Free Solution for Your Horses

With our paddock mats, your horses will no longer walk through the mud. These mats, also known as paddock grids, provide a solid and stable drainage layer for your paddock, preventing muddiness and keeping your horses' hooves clean and dry. The mats are easy to install thanks to their click-system, and they are reusable and repositionable, offering both convenience and flexibility.

How Paddock Mats Work:

Paddock mats help prevent horses from compacting the ground by walking on it. The mats ensure that your horse stays on top of the sand, rather than sinking into it. The individual mats are simple to lay and click together, forming a firm, stable surface. The mats should be filled with a 10 cm layer of sand for optimal drainage and support.

How to Apply Paddock Mats:

The ideal base for laying the paddock grids is a firmer underlay of crushed gravel or drainage sand. This base layer should be water-permeable, helping to maintain paddock stability and prevent waterlogging. Once the base is prepared, the paddock mats are laid on top, and finally, a 10 cm layer of sand is added. For this top layer, we recommend M3C sand (grain size 0.2 to 0.3 mm).
